Chief of Staff
Glenn Robinson is a Colorado native and former University of Kansas (KU) collegiate athlete. While attending KU on a full-ride scholarship he was awarded the commissioner’s honor roll for outstanding academics while competing in Big XII athletics.
At KU, Glenn majored in American Studies with a focus in Social Diversity and Inclusion. After college, he completed an internship at the FedEx Express world headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee, and went on to manage the Salt Lake City hub for FedEx Ground. After eight years in the corporate arena, Glenn transferred to the public sector to follow his passions; tutoring at risk youth; assisting SNAP Employment and Training participants with job searching, resume development, and interviewing skills; and administering testing, training, and job placements for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) workforce customers in subsidized employment opportunities.
Over the past seven years, Glenn has overseen a variety of public assistance eligibility and employment and training programs geared toward assisting families on their paths out of poverty. His most recent work as the Deputy Director for the Division of Employment and Benefits at the Colorado Department of Human Services has included: increased access to Employment and Training opportunities for SNAP customers, the creation of Colorado Works Subsidized Training and Employment Program (CW STEP), and a 10% increase in cash benefits for families receiving public assistance. Glenn is passionate about improving accessibility and positive outcomes for low-income families.
