Caitlin Mendenhall is the Program Coordinator at RISE Colorado. She works across all of RISE’s programs to support with family engagement, community organizing, and empowerment of families in Aurora Public Schools. Before joining RISE, she lived in Guatemala for a year and a half, working as a university scholarship program coordinator for the Philanthropiece Foundation and supporting future changemakers in rural communities of the Guatemalan highlands. Caitlin is a graduate of the University of Denver with BA’s in International Studies and Spanish and a minor in French. Having grown up in bilingual schools, Caitlin is bilingual in Spanish and jumps at any chance to speak Spanish and engage with Latino communities. She is passionate about education and women’s empowerment, as well as sustainable community development. A native of Colorado, Caitlin enjoys hiking and camping in the beautiful Rocky Mountains and exploring new places around Denver.
